Notes for Hosea Poole

Comments by Lorene Jones follow:

I can remember visiting Hosea, Hosie, as Grandma called him. Lytle was his son. Lytle lost his leg as a small boy. He tried to jump on the mail wagon of Perry Jones and caught his leg in the wheel. He had a new pair of overalls and, as my grandmother told the story, when the doctor had to amputate the leg, Lytle told them not to cut his new overalls.
